Our Clinics are Open
We’re delighted to announce that the Edinburgh clinic and the INEOS/PetroIneos clinics are open.
We are strictly adhering to government, NHS Scotland and regulatory guidelines to maintain the highest levels of hygiene and cleanliness as safety for patients and staff is paramount.
We triage all appointment bookings to check that a patient’s complaint meets certain criteria. After booking an appointment you will receive an email with a series of crucial triage questions which you must complete before coming to the clinic. Of course if you would prefer a video consultation we are still providing that option.
For your information, please see below a list of the thorough practises and procedures that we have in place to keep everyone safe.
We have had many patients contact us over this difficult period asking for help and it will be a pleasure for us to be able to assist you again.
We’re looking forward to seeing you soon,
Alex and Amanda
The Measures in Place to Keep Everyone Safe
Before each session, you will receive your reminder email, which now will also be updated with a series of triage questions. These questions will be to maintain the highest level of infection control within the clinics and to protect the public and clinicians by keeping any symptomatic customers away from the clinics.
If possible, try to come to the clinic alone. Please also be mindful not to bring unnecessary items into the clinic – such as bags, coats, jewellery, watches etc. Please note we would advise against you using the public toilets in the building.
We will be allowing time between each patient to prevent any overlap of patients and to allow us as practitioners to aerate the treatment room, completely sanitise all surfaces and to change our PPE (face masks, gloves and aprons).
On arrival, please ring or text your Osteopath and we will greet you at the door to let you in. To further protect you, we will ask you to wear a mask from the moment you enter the clinic. (We can provide a mask at cost price, £1).
To prevent contamination within the clinic we will, for the time-being, not be using the reception area, we will be asking you to come straight into the treatment room.
We would kindly ask everyone to pay by contactless, thank you.
If you have any questions at all do not hesitate to get in touch.
Alex and Amanda
