An Introduction to Margaux Astic

My name is Margaux Astic, originally from the French Alps. I moved to the UK a couple of years ago to attend the European School of Osteopathy and have relocated to Edinburgh, a city that has always captured my interest.

My passion for osteopathy began at the age of 14. Growing up in a region where osteopathy is widely embraced, I saw firsthand how it supports people from all backgrounds in understanding their bodies and maintaining long-term health. I am dedicated to help others in need by accompanying them to achieve their own health goals through tailored, empathetic care.

I take a holistic and patient-centred approach to treatment, always adapting to the individual needs, concerns and preferences of each person I work with. That is why I use a wide range of osteopathic techniques allowing me to offer truly personalised care. These techniques are such as; soft tissue massage, cranial osteopathy, joint mobilisation and spinal manipulation.

I have a further interest in treating newborns and infants, supporting the young ones in their first steps of life. Additionally, I am qualified in kinesiology taping, which can support and help manage any sports injuries or for rehabilitation.
